Just a tin of beans

Open tin of baked beansAll that was standing between me and starvation (okay that might be a bit of an exaggeration but it felt that way) was a can of ring pull baked beans. (Note to self go shopping and make sure the cupboards are full.)

Do you know how hard it is to open a tin of baked beans when your hands are inflamed? Well I am now an expert in that situation and I’m happy to share my expertise with you. It is almost impossible, I say almost because with a little determination all things are possible it just may take you a little longer.

Through my frustrations I still managed to laugh, well it was more preferable than crying and I am sure it would have made a great comedy sketch. Determination and focus are powerful weapons. I managed to open the can of beans, but by the time I completed my task I was no longer hungry. No that’s a bummer!

My message to you is you need to get your hands on any tools that are available that make things easier for you.

Don’t be proud one day it could be you alone with a tin of beans. I am now the proud owner of a ring puller.
